While every day may feel more uncertain in these challenging times, RCL is continuing to offer hope and assurance for guests who understand that, following the COVID crisis, great vacations will be needed more than ever.
This is no doubt a challenging time, with changing travel restrictions and unknowns, but, in a move that again proves the cruise company’s dedication to their guests as well as optimism for the future, the company has extended its “Cruise with Confidence” cancellation policy.
Now applying to all sailings on or before September 1, the policy grants guests on Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara and Silversea unprecedented control and flexibility in current and future bookings by allowing cancellations up to 48 hours before a sailing. Guests then receive a full credit for their fare, usable on any future sailing of the guest’s choice in 2020 or 2021.
“Guests are reacting positively to our ‘Cruise with Confidence’ policy because it enables them to make informed decisions and to better manage complicated travel plans during this unprecedented time of uncertainty,” says company chairman and CEO Richard Fain. “We want our guests to feel they can safely keep their existing cruise bookings or schedule new sailings because this policy gives them more freedom and flexibility.”
Hundreds of RCL customer service agents across the United States and, indeed, the world, are safely working from home to communicate and address individual questions and concerns of guests.
Thanks to the “Cruise with Confidence” policy, RCL is better able to respond to changing global travel restrictions while providing more security and peace of mind to guests for their travel planning both now, and in the future.
